Hello everyone! If you follow my posts, you know 2 facts - I have children and I love to bake cakes) These facts are closely related, because firstly children love cakes, secondly it's so cool to bake a cake for the Birthday of the child or any other holiday! Recently, very popular are cakes in the form of numbers. This idea belongs to the confectioner from Israel @adikosh123. In August, my daughter had a Birthday, she was 2 years old. I thought, it was a good excuse to try a new recipe!

So, you will need:
1 egg
80 g sugar
40 gr of honey
pinch of salt
50 g butter
0.5 h l soda
190-200 gr flour

Stir whisk in a saucepan sugar, salt, honey, egg until smooth. Add the butter and place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. With constant stirring, bring the mass to a boil, but do not boil. Remove from heat and add soda, stir. The mass will begin to increase in volume. After that, cool the mass to room temperature. If you are in a hurry, you can put a saucepan in a larger bowl of cold water.

When the mass has cooled down, add half of the specified amount of flour, mix with a whisk. Pour the rest of the flour on the table and knead the dough with your hands. Do not add more flour, than specified in the recipe, then the dough will be tough... Wrap the dough in a bag and remove for at least a couple of hours in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Roll out the dough with a thickness of 3-4 mm. In advance prepare paper stencils and cut with a sharp knife from the dough to the desired figure or shape. To keep the stencil from sticking to the dough, lightly sprinkle it with flour. It is very convenient to immediately roll out the dough on a Teflon Mat or baking parchment. Each digit we need to cut 2 times. The remains of the dough roll into a ball and cut out the following figure. The figure should be slightly pierced with a fork so that the dough does not bubble during baking. Cakes bake at 170 degrees just a few minutes until a light golden crust. It is very important not to overdo the dough in the oven, otherwise the cakes will be dry. Hot cake is very soft and fragile, so you need to let it cool. From the remnants of the dough you can bake cookies.

For cake you can use any cream, but I love cream from 33% cream and cottage cheese. To prepare, mix 33% fat cream, powdered sugar and cheese with a mixer. Now you just have to decorate the cake. In this matter, rely on your imagination! I wanted to capture the process of cooking cakes, but you need to do everything very quickly, so I have only a photo of the result. And I turned out here is a cake, fresh berries are perfect as a decoration!

By the way, we celebrated our daughter's Birthday 2 times, so I baked 2 different cakes. The second cake I decorated with gingerbread, because the Birthday was in the style of a Unicorn!
