Time for another cookie video! In this episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, I will teach you how to make yummy homemade Twix Bars. This twix candy bar recipe tastes just like the real thing! But they are even bigger! Homemade twix bars are one of my favorite treats to eat, mmm chocolate and caramel and shortbread, what could be better then that? We are going to make these twix cookie bars from scratch using simple ingredients. They are really easy to make, if I can make them, you can make them. Let's get started!

Ingredients:

• 2 cups of All purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of Sugar
• 1/2 cup + 3 Tbsp of Butter
• 1/2 tsp of salt
• 1 lb 6 ounces of Caramel (I use 2 bags of 11 ounce Kraft brand)
• 2 to 3 Tbsp of Milk or Heavy cream
• 3 to 4 cups of chocolate (I like to use milk chocolate melting wafers, but you can use whatever chocolate you like)

Tools:

• hand mixer
  -13x9 pan or use smaller bread pans
• bowls
• aluminum foil
• kitchen spray
• knife
• fork
• parchment paper
• sheet pan or cookie pan
