Comiendo en las Tortillas de Gabino - Eating in Tortillas de Gabino

Ayer estuve con mis compañeros de trabajo comiendo en un restaurante que no había estado nunca, se llama las Tortillas de Gabino y está en Madrid, entre Alonso Martinez y Gregorio Marañón. Como dice su nombre, su especialidad son las tortillas, y doy fé de que están muy buenas.

Yesterday I was with my coworkers eating in a restaurant that I had never been, it is called the Tortillas de Gabino and it is in Madrid, between Alonso Martinez and Gregorio Marañón. As its name says, its specialty is tortillas, and I give faith that they are very good.

Estábamos comiendo siete personas y nada más entrar, ya te das cuenta de que tiene muy buena pinta el restaurante. Esta es la carta que hay para elegir, no es barato, pero vale la pena ir y probar algunos platos.

We were eating seven people and nothing else to enter, you already realize that the restaurant looks very good. This is the menu to choose from, it's not cheap, but it's worth going and trying some dishes.

Pedimos tres tortillas para compartir, la velazqueña, que es la tortilla de patatas clásica, la de pulpo y la trufada. Me quedo con la clásica. Siento mucho no tener fotos pero nos la pusieron ya partidas y no pude hacer fotos.

We ordered three tortillas to share, the velazqueña, which is the classic omelette, the octopus and the truffle. I prefer the classic one. I'm sorry not to have photos but they already put them cutten it to us and I could not take photos.

De segundo plato cada uno cogimos un plato, yo elegí presa ibérica a la plancha, poco hecha que es como más me gusta.

Later, we each people took a dish, I chose Iberian grilled prey, which is not as good as I like it.

Mi compañero de al lado cogió el pato que tenía una pinta excelente.

One of my coworkers ate the duck that looked excellent.

De postre, como siempre tomé café solo largo con hielo y de beber cerveza.

For dessert, as always, I drank long coffee with ice and drinking beer.

Recomiendo a todo el que vive en Madrid o que venga ir a este restaurante, yo volveré pronto.
