No Gluten, Low Carb Pizza Crust

That is better tasting than bread crusts

As people shift away from carbs they still want pizza

But the bread of the crust you may as well just put under your shirt or in your pockets. Some folks gain weight just looking at a pizza, but that does not mean you will never eat one again!

And there is an increasing number of people that can not handle the glutens in breads, but still love Pizza.

Fear not there is a solution for you, the crust (as odd as this sounds), is made of Riced 1. item1. itemcauliflower! So not only dose it cut the carbs, it has substantially high nutrional value for you.

And it tastes great

Arguably far better than typical bread crusts... and yes even children like it.

So here is the how for each crust

  • One cup riced, finely shredded (the smaller the better), cauliflower
  • One cup shredded mozzarella
  • One egg
  • Spices like oregano, salt, pepper, paprika to taste

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, pour out onto parchment paper covered cookie sheet (parchment works best for moisture) and spread it as thick or thin as you want.

Thinner works better for my tastes and has firmer texture with less moisture.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, flip over for a few more minutes... you will get to learn the perfect way to your perfect crust quickly.

Protein, high fiber the cruciferous benefits all with ultra low carbs

Just top as you wish and pop it back in the oven for a few minutes. Pesto, vegetables, anchovies or whatever you want... man they are so much better than regular crust!

It is more substantial without the carbs and gluten... a fantastic substitute. But most important it is great in the morning as well!

This is one of my favorite

I have seen this done so many times but always wondered what it tastes like - guess it is time to try
