Healthy Brownie Recipe - Vegan & Gluten Free!

These naturally sweet black bean brownies satisfies your chocolate cravings and just may fool your entire family! These brownies are gluten free as they are flourless, dairy free using a flax egg substitute and sweetened with energizing dates!!!

Black Bean Brownies
Ingredients
19oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
2/3 cup medjool dates, soaked in hot water
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2cup +1tbsp cacao powder
1tsp vanilla extract
1/4tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp ground flax + 5tbsp water (sit 5min)
2tbsp coffee, brewed
optional toppings chopped walnuts/carob chips

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Blend all ingredients (except toppings)in a food processor or blender until completely smooth.
Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper. Spread batter in your lined dish and add any delicious toppings that you would like and bake for 35-40min or until toothpick comes out almost clean. Let cool for 5min in the dish then carefully transfer to a cooling rack. Enjoy!!!
