Kura Sushi and a run to burn off the calories

I went to Kura Sushi for lunch today, it is a conveyor belt type of sushi restaurant which is becoming more common these days. It is in Cupertino Calif, just down the street from the new Apple headquarters.

You can either be seated at a bar or a table, there are touchscreen display menus that you can scroll through to see all of the food items that can be ordered. From hot food, to soup and sushi/rolls.

There is a conveyor with a variety of items that you can pick up at any time. When you order from the menu, your item(s) arrive on a conveyer just above the lower one.

The sushi is OK, you just need to remember that this is a 'fast food' type of sushi place. It has value as the price is on the lower side, but the overall quality is also lower. It's not bad for the price which is why it is usually very busy.
Below is a spicy tuna roll, masago, unagi and saba.

So I went for a 4 mile trail run a few hours afterwards in Los Gatos.

You can see the hill profile here, it was about 65* F which is nice jogging weather. (Sweating was on the menu)... The graph on the bottom is pace in blue, heart rate in red and cadence in pink. (You can see the times I stopped to take a photo)

The trail is nice and green with all of the recent rain that we have had.

Lexington reservoir could use the water as it is part of the local fresh water supply.

Lots of these yellow flower bushes around.

The S8 does a pretty good job of focusing in on close items and blurring out the background.

Here is the running gear, a Garmin Vivoactive HR on the left, Wahoo fitness heart rate monitor in the middle and a Garmin cadence sensor attached to the front of the shoe.
