It's amazing the simple little things that no one really thinks about, as it is so "normal". If that statistic alone is so profound, imagine all the other things that are also unbelievably true. Where we spend our money, time and attention grows. In what are we investing our precious life energy? It's worth a good, hard, truthful re-evaluation! American society is highly invested in consuming...the consumer's entire life is centered around spending money and making more money to spend! Grateful for the space @quinneaker provides in our ecovillage to escape that hamster wheel...

I always thought chips were terrible for the most part. Then I discovered the magic of bean chips. They don't pay me to constantly pimp them out but they don't have to because I LOVE bean chips like nobody's business.

Chips are delicious, and certainly a favorite around here. Spending $16 million a day on them is absurd however, and we have no part of that!

Although we've never been to the Super Bowl and can't speak from experience, that would be quite surprising if they give anything away for free there...
I think I saw a post in steemit about potato chips actually having more corn in it than I thought, not just potatoes after all.
That is unfortunately not surprising...
wow! I've traveled a lot and certainly the US has a very poor diet compared to many "third word" countries.
