Ulog #85: Chili Cheeseburger @ Burger Giler Power!
Haven't been posting lately but here's one that I got some time to write and post so hope you like it.
This is a burger that I love a lot. It's my version of the classic Chilli Cheeseburger. Mine like any is savory, a little spicy and most of all full of flavor and delicious.
I use lotsa tomatoes and ground Indian beef as it has a lot of strong beefy flavor to it. The most inexpensive beef you can find but if you're cooking a stew or in this case a chilli, it's gonna be extremely flavorful. Rule of thumb is, whatever you're gonna cook really long, get tougher cuts of meat and it'll be super flavorful.
I also use, premium grade smoked paprika that gives it a smokey flavorful and never even being smoked. Other spices include cumin, chili powder, a hint of turmeric, salt and crushed Sarawak black pepper, and some worchestershire sauce and some other secret herbs and spices.
Oh there's also a bunch of vegetables like onions and garlic to give it it's needed aromatic flavors. Mine doesn't have any beans in it so it's purely a beef chili gravy.
I guess that's because I'm using it specifically for a burger so I wanted it to be really beefy in taste.
