Mid night Snack....
The heat down here has definitely kicked in, and now the warm snacks are out. One of our new favorites happens to be cold strawberries, with sour cream. Yes I said sour cream.
We wash the strawberries, and then we pat them dry. We grab another plate, and but a scoop of sour cream, and then a scoop of brown sugar.
Coat the strawberry in sour cream, and then dip it in the sugar. It almost starts to make like a caramel paste. I would say it is healthy, but probably the sugar makes it a not so healthy snack, but you should give it a try. You might like it.

For hot weather nothing better than an ice cream, you should try adding a portion of ice cream to your preparation of strawberries and sour cream, being able to ignore the sugar.
With the temps lately the ice cream would melt in about 2 min, so no talking and just eating it.
We love strawberries but I would never have thought to do sour cream. Yogurt is something we try. I’m thinking it’s along the lines of sweet and salty together. A very interesting combo for sure. Not entirely sure I could do it .
Try it, but the brown sugar is key too. Really tasty and quick to make.
Hmmm... can’t say I would have ever thought it would be a good combo but perhaps I will give it a try sometime!

Mmmm, strawberries... My second favourite fruit! They use to be third, then I got fed up of trying to peel that white skin like stuff off the pomegranate seeds.
