Flower Power Photo Contest hosted by @flamingirl is a wonderful opportunity for steemians to express their feelings towards flowers.

My entry for today is a photo taken in the middle of the forest during a Summer day. This beautiful dianthus or pink (most likely, Dianthus carthusianorum) blooms especially in August. It can be found at high altitudes well hidden into the grass.
Known as the flower of gods, the shy dianthus is a symbol of admiration, passion, love and gratitude.

This photo was taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ7 camera and Photoshop Express edited.
