Heterotheca Subaxillaris 🌻
Although it's a common flower in the Israeli landscape, it hasn't been so in the past.
The plant is a perennial herbaceous family originating in the southeastern United States.
Was brought to Israel in 1975 to stabilize the sands, but in recent years there has been an invasive expansion of it, and as of 2007 it is on the list of invasive plants of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
The flowers are gorgeous though 😊
Unfortunately, it was very windy that day, which made it quite difficult to get a good focus...
