The Earth may not be flat, but I seriously do believe we should reach out to these people and try to have a conversation about this that doesn't blow up into some emotional argument with name calling. We should be able to prove the Earth is not flat without making fun of these people, it will only push both sides further away from each other.
We should be doing this on every issue. I don't understand why people can never have logical discussion without getting upset.
Agreed. I seriously believe this is a psyop put out there to trick people into thinking "I figured it out! I know why the world's so fucked up and nobody else does!"
I think it takes a real special kind of person to fall for this one. I was questioning a flat earther on here a few days ago and they told me to stop trolling. Lol since when did asking you to defend your point become trolling.
I have seen that many times too, it's their reality. In their minds it is a flat earth. I have to say though I've seen intelligent people finding this idea to be plausible, which is the reason I am so alarmed by the rise of this. I can imagine this becoming a big thing.
I hope it doesn't become a big thing. Americans are so closed minded at this point they are unable to change their opinions even when provided with new evidence.
I also really hope it doesn't.
