Traps Workout for Bigger Traps

Traps are used in each type of exercise either it is chest workout or shoulder workout even in leg workout so it is necessary to do separate exercise to build strong traps so that you will be able to lift more weight easily in any type of workout.

Shoulder Shrug

First Exercise for building shoulder is shoulder shrug. To do this workout you simply need a pair of dumbbell. You should use heavy dumbbells but not more than 45 if you are at intermediate level and not more than 20 pounds if you are at beginner level. To perform shoulder shrug stand straight with dumbbells in your hands your shoulder blades should be back and your chest should be out. Keeping your hands straight try to lift weight by moving your traps you will feel pump in your traps.

You will have to contract your traps so that they can feel the pain. Make sure to get one to two seconds pause at the top position.
