Sometimes it's Hard to Truly Listen to Your Body

in #fitness6 years ago

When working towards a fat loss or fitness goal, sometimes it's hard to truly listen to your body. You may feel guilty for skipping the gym, stuffing your face with some 'bad' food or realizing that you're mindlessly snacking when you're not even hungry.

This past week has been one of those weeks for me. I've basically trained once in the past 5 days, lived off snack foods like health chips, bars, fruit and chocolate and have spent way to much time in front of a computer screen.
But honestly... I don't even feel guilty. Weeks like this excite me!!
It's so good to enjoy unplanned cheat weeks, shock the body, reboot your system and re-motivate your mind to get back into your health and fitness grind. If you find yourself dreading the gym, craving bad food or resenting your healthy lifestyle. STOP. Dont burn yourself out. Take a breather, eat some sneaky treats, watch gossip girl, hide your gym clothes away for a few days and don't take the ##shredlyf so seriously. The body is super forgiving and will bounce back quicker than you expect.
