My weight loss Blog - 36 year old man, 300 lbs - 100 lbs to lose!

I have decided to write a blog to chart my weight loss, I am actually six weeks in! but I want to put down what im doing, how im feeling, whats going right and whats going wrong - So I will be making updates as and when, and weighing in once a week! today is such a day..

Weigh in today, week six

Start weight - 22 stone 1 lb

Last week Weigh in - 21 stone 0.5

Current weight - 20 stone 11.25

Total Loss to date - 17.75 lbs

3.1/4 pounds down this week, biggest single loss since week one, i am putting this down to increased activity. Managed a 3 mile walk on rough terrain and also did some shorter walks with more intensity on rainy days. hitting beetwen 7 and 10k steps per day depending on rain or shine, but lower step days are done at a faster pace , climbing approx 100 meters per day up steep hills on a golf course. Have also started weight training with dumbells , rows, benchpress,overhead press, and either curls or kickbacks. Raising calories to 2200 per day on non workout days and 2500 workout days. (have been on 1900/2000 calories most days until now, but with increased activity i want to raise and hopefully build some muscle at the same time)
