Keep With It - Small Sacrifices Add Up To BIG Results...

Finding consistency in a healthy lifestyle takes practice, perseverance, and a particular mindset, and it's not always easy. If it was, everyone would be lean, strong, fit, and vibrant all the time! I know I say that a lot, but it's true!

It's natural to avoid discomfort, take the path of least resistance, or shy away from challenges... We all do it from time to time, and some more than others. It's clearly reflected in fitness and health - those who embrace the hard choices with discipline and dedication are often the ones who see the most benefit, and those who succumb to temptation and the path of least resistance are usually the ones who find themselves unhappy with their health.

It's all about identifying when you yourself are guilty of these behaviors, and to change your inner approach from talking yourself out of doing the things that may be difficult (but keep you healthy) to convincing yourself why it's just too important to miss out on.

For all of the reasons you find to avoid making the right choices, make it a point to find two reasons why you should stick to your guns and continue to travel the path, however rocky, straight toward health.

Not every single day will be great, but it's possible to experience victories and become a little bit better with each opportunity - so when you see one, take it!

Everyone has setbacks, makes mistakes, or has things that don't go the way they want them to. That's ok! It's all part of the learning experience and the pursuit of your balanced life.

A balanced life is a happy life!

Most people who are unhappy with their health, their physique, or the way they feel have gotten into a routine that is somehow out of balance. The thing is, most people already know what needs to change - it's just a matter of actually making those changes.

My advice is to start small. TINY, even. Take the easiest thing to cross off your list, and tackle that first. Once you've mastered that tiny thing, move on to the next small step.

The little things all put together add up, and they add up FAST! Fitness and health are essentially the products of the perfect storm of all your small positive lifestyle choices put together - nutrition, hydration, exercise, sleep, self-care, attention to mental and emotional wellbeing...

A small choice today, plus a small choice tomorrow, plus a small choice the next day, and so on, can have absolutely huge effects - just like a snowball. A few tiny pieces can make up that starting snowball, but watch as it picks up more momentum, size, and speed as it rolls!

Remember, YOU'VE GOT THIS. Nobody can want it for you, but if you want it, and I mean really want it, nobody can stop you.

So keep with it, and keep making the tiny sacrifices every day - in time they will become second nature, add up, and become the reason behind some major results!

I think your right about starting small...When these small behaviors become habits, I wanted to then do more and make more tiny improvements.
