long day
I fished hard today, saw plenty of fish but as soon as I got a line in the water the "pickers" would eat all my bait. And the catfish were bad, I would throw all 6 of my rods out and before I could sit down I had 3 rods jumping and caught 4 catfish. I did catch 2 pompano and had another one but my line broke and I lost it. rrrrrrr I was mad. My husband could not find any pompano to cast net so he went up the creek looking for goats to cast net, he did not find any goats either so came home early. I should say goats are a fish, another name for them is black mojarra. I stayed till almost 6 o' clock, then tucked my tail between my legs and came in. I did catch the biggest blow fish that I have ever caught, I would even call it a trophy blow fish.
This pelican was sleeping on the dock at the fish house but woke him up, now I think he wants me to feed him.

@annephilbrick the pelican was wanting my fish, back when we had gill nets they would get fish out of our nets, we always fed the ones with one wing but never the ones that should hunt on their own.
That's a huge blow fish!
@blacklux the old timers called big blow fish squirrel fish, I do not know why.
