Hello and welcome to another Filmmaker’s diary! - 20/04/2020
Long time since the last entry again… and things are still nuts!
Long story short: The video competition was indeed pushed back and no more news have been given. I saw another cool competition, and I guess I’ll go for it as well… “Why not?” Kinda thing. The deadline is in 2 days, so I guess I’ll do the entire short film tomorrow heheheh
Then, I decided I should just make a short film, once this is all over. Then I got another idea for another short film… I also have another project that could benefit from having empty streets… So let’s see. (By the way, I still don’t have the screw that I lost just before this madness, I mean the screw to get the stabiliser work)
Started the youtube channel… doing several videos and so on… today I reached the 50 subs mark :)
I’ve sent the short script to a top noch competition… that was quite stressful, I checked everything a million times and still I feel, I left a typo or something like that. Let’s see, there is a lot of potential in there.
Been working on several scrips… on and off, some new ones, some older ones.. it has been hard to focus with the state of the world… but still I’ve been doing some writing. Hope/ think, I’ll be able to do more writing now. Talking about festivals…. the money situation got much worst now. So, I’m not sure if I can send the scripts to the very selective list of competitions… It is appropriate to mention Bad timing.
Video Production.. it has been on hold let’s say. People are saying that in two weeks, some things might start to open. Think I’ll need to go very, very strong then. The editing freelance, is not over… it stoped a bit, but I did got a check from them a couple weeks ago or so, and I’ll send a message after this. Really hope that stays good.
Been thinking of learning stop motion in order to do some small videos and so… And getting back to music, has been a lot on my mind…
