Run (2020) – Movie Trailer
And now something for the horror/thriller people out there. This is not classic horror movie with zombies, serial killers, ghosts, or monsters aka aliens, but still, it’s pretty nicely directed that your hands will sweat while you are watching it… The movie is distributed by Lionsgate Movies distribution company and its simply named Run. The combination of Golden Globe winner Sarah Paulson and young Kiera Allen in the main roles were perfect, and their tense relationship in the movie is presented awesome. The movie Run will be premiered this Mothers’s Day, on May 8.
The story follows, at first sight, the ordinary life of a single mother and her young daughter, Chloe. The girl is raised in total isolation, and her mom was controlling every move… The mother-daughter relationship has become almost unnatural and sinister, and that was a moment when Chloe suspected that her mother is keeping a dark secret from her...
The director and one of the writers of the movie is Aneesh Chaganty, and this will be his second movie in the director's chair, after the great thriller/drama Searching from 2018. Co-writer in the movie was Sev Ohanian, a well-known producer by movies like Searching (2018), Fruitvale Station (2013), or My Big Fat Armenian Family (2008).
In the main roles are Golden Globe winner Sarah Paulson (12 Years a Slave (2013), Glass (2019), Carol (2015)), Kiera Allen (Ethan & Skye (2014)), Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills (2013), The Innkeepers (2011), The Post (2017)), Onalee Ames (Shall We Dance (2004), The Lazarus Project (2008), Faces in the Crowd (2011)), Erik Athavale (Fractured (2019), Breakthrough (2019), No Time Like Christmas (2019)) and others.
