From Universal Pictures, next April is coming the movie Promising Young Woman, from “fresh director”, but experienced writer, Emerald Fennell. The movie is wicked, crime/thriller that will keep you glued at the seat in the cinema. The first trailer for the movie looks great and it is very intriguing… Discovers very little about the complete story, but enough to make us wonder about the possible endings…

The story follows Cassie, the woman who was described as “promising” in her younger days, but than happened a mysterious event that changed her life completely. She is smart and cunning, and she is using that to take an act of revenge on every man that crosses her path… She runs double life, from a respectful woman at daylight to pretending to be an easy girl on nights…

The director and writer of the movie is Primetime Emmy nominee Emerald Fennell, a well-known actress (TV series The Crown (2019-2020)) and writer (known for TV Series Killing Eve (2019), short movie Careful How You Go (2018)). This is her first full-length movie in the director's chair.

In the main roles are Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan (Never Let Me Go (2010), An Education (2009), Shame (2011)), Bo Burnham (Eighth Grade (2018), The Big Sick (2017), Bo Burnham: what. (2013)), Connie Britton (American Ultra (2015), Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012), TV Series Nashville (2012-2018)), Alison Brie (The Lego Movie (2014), Sleeping with Other People (2015), The Five-Year Engagement (2012)), Adam Brody (TV Series The O.C. (2003-2007), Jennifer's Body (2009), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)) and others.
