'No really, I have a five wine limit.' She lifted her glass to the light and peered through it.

'Why five, isn't that a little arbitrary?'

Dan smiled, clinking his glass against hers. This date's going well, he thought. 'Blind' dates could often be fraught affairs but this was good. She was bloody gorgeous and funny with it. He was very happy that he had picked up his smartphone earlier and swiped a few profiles on his dating app.

Erin's face had been the third photo he came across. Raven black hair and green eyes had made her stand out immediately. Even better she had photoshopped herself onto a background of a smoking ruin like a marvel superhero posing in the aftermath of a boss battle.

That profile pic made him laugh and immediately decide to tap her up and here they were... He snapped back into the now. She was talking.

'Yeah, I mean. I love wine. In fact I love drinking, having a good time but these days... It doesn't agree with me so much. Maybe I am getting a little old.' Erin smiled as she said this. Obviously confident. There was no way she could be older than thirty.

He drained the rest of his glass. Looked at her. He smiled again, gave her his best come-on eyes. He had a feeling tonight might get very interesting. They had flirted hugely over the last few hours. Another couple of drinks and he was sure he could convince her to carry on the party back at his.

'Well, I guess we could call it a night. It's just, wow. I am having such a great time. You're quite amazing. I'm having the best time.' Dan leant over and kissed her. She kissed him back fervently, her hand gripping the back of his head tightly.

Glasses clinked as the waiter placed another two glasses of wine down. They disentangled a little guiltily. She looked at Dan.

'Hey, what about my limit?'
'I figured, you know. What the hell, if she wants it it's there and if not we can just go.'
'Hells, you are terrible! Trying to get me drunk obviously.' Her eyes danced as she spoke, raising the glass to her lips.

Dan joined her, Chinking his glass against hers before taking a large gulp. They chatted some more. Kissed some more, her kisses hot and needy. Time to wrap this up, he thought. He settled the bill between kisses.

Standing he offered his hand.

'Back to mine?'

An arched eyebrow. Erin giggled.

'There are some offers a girl just can't refuse.'

She took his hand and they swayed toward the door. The girl at the greeting station smiled as they approached.

Erin halted, tugging at Dan's sleeve to stop.

'What the fuck are you smiling at bitch?'

'Pardon? I was just...'

Erin leapt forward her hand snaking out in a blur clubbing the girl in the neck with a meaty slapping noise. The girl smashed back against the wall, eyes wide, clutching her neck. A whistling noise coming from her throat as she tried to scream.

'Wha...' Dan stared in astonishment. What the fuck just happened?

'Hey!'

Two of the doormem came barrelling toward them. Erin stepped towards them with a snarl.

Her fist thundered against the first one's jaw lifting him from his feet before she leapt and spun, foot flashing out into the others gut. He grunted, doubling over. Leaping up she landed hard, her elbow slamming with a crack into the back of his head.

Blood sprayed over Dan. He gaped, mouthing emptily and moved back. He held his arms out defensively. Was she fucking insane? She had just killed that guy. His head had almost exploded when she smashed it.

A gunshot rang out, the barman shaking as he held the gun pointed at Erin's head. She turned, face stark with fury. Eyes like hot coals in the snow. Her hand reached up to her night black hair and came away bloody.

'Oh you fucking CUNTS!'

She threw her hand forward and a shock wave blasted forth smashing tables and chairs before it. The barman and the bar exploded in a hail of wood chips and torn flesh.

Dan whimpered, smoke billowed past him as he crawled along the floor to the exit. He tried to block out the screaming and crashing noises. He couldn't believe what was happening. What was she? This was insane!

'Not so fast.'

He squawked as a hand hauled him up by the hair. He was roughly spun around and slammed against the wall. Erin glared at him, eyes fever bright. Despite the destruction he could see through the smoke behind her she looked perfect. She smiled and pulled his hair tighter wrenching his head to the side.

'I told you.'

She smashed his head against the wall.

'Five.'

Thwack. She smashed it again.

'Wine.'

Thwack.

'Limit.'

His pulped head lolled lifelessly in her grip. She dropped his lifeless body to the floor and headed out.

Outside a crowd was gathering. Smoke belched from the fires that were taking hold of the bar. She pulled her phone out and mussed her hair with one hand whilst holding her phone at arm's length. Quick pout and snap.

She smiled wryly at the selfie she had just taken.

Yeah, that will do nicely.
