Last Jedi... Looming on the Horizon of JL movie...
We all know that the JL movie, which we had been expecting anxiously since forever, hasn't have an stellar trajectory at the Box Office.
Troubled with many problems since pre-production, losing it's director
almost in the end, getting a new director to "patchwork" the end product,
and to make matters worse, bad - very bad- word of mouth, smearing
the less than stellar production of DCCU since the Man Of Steel Reboot (2013),
this movie had a very rough transit sales-wise...
According to Warner executives (also, culprits in part, of all the wrongness here,
but that's a story for another day) Justice League had until this past weekend
to reach, 700 million dollars at the Box Office, to get at least EVEN!
Well, they only reached 613 million, and loses are expected to be in the range of
87 million dollars aproximately.
This, apart from being the worst DC/Warner movie, sales-wise of all...
Earnings from merchandise and other stuff is another animal entirely.
We are talking here only about the movie, of course.
Why until this weekend for a deadline?
Because a MONSTER of a movie premieres this weekend, and is going to ERASE
all competition...
