Girl Child:

Tell every girl child...
That being a girl does not connote weakness
That she could embrace meekness
But never bow down in defeat
Even to the intimidation of the other sex
Because being a girl ,
Is never a reality of regret
But being a girl, be rest assured
Is a gift to be treasured
A gift to be envious of by all

Tell her.
The tone of her skin
Would not ultimately defines her
She is not only flesh
But God's beautiful soul
So, just be You!

Tell her...
The size of your breast or hips
The colour of your lips
Is not a yardstick for measuring
The size of your dream
Or the value of your worth
That she is unique and phenomenal
Her physique notwithstanding

Tell her
She is not here for a beauty contest
But on a destiny conquest
Not to look and lose
But to fight to win
The fight of purpose
It's not Her vs them
But Her vs Herself

Tell her
That time will come , after infancy
When she will begin to catch the fancy
Of every guy on the street & school
Learn at such time to keep your cool.

Tell her
You'll surely find that boy
Whose masculine wit and ploy
Will make your head swoon
And whose sugar waxed tongue
Will strive to drive you crazy
With goose bumps feeling
That would float you to the moon
On a parachute of fantasy.

Tell her...
That, never at such moment
Should she trade her feminine dignity
For flippant, fleeting endearment
There's more to life
Than having an affair

Tell her...
To wage against every wind of profanity
To stay strong and brave
And mix realistm with optimistm
And against all odds, to keep her mystique.
