Spring in Siberia is very capricious. A few days ago the sun was shining bright, the first flowers began to bloom, the first butterflies fluttered on them. Gulls fished in the open waters... But the North wind came, froze the ponds, sprinkled the flowers with snow...

Seagulls in bewilderment walk on ice where else yesterday dived for fish.
Чайки в недоумении прохаживаются по льду, там, где ещё вчера ныряли за рыбой.
The main hope of the birds is that this spring frost will not last long, spring will still win and the April sun will melt the ice again.
