Fasting Journal : Day 8 of 10, High Intensity/Short Duration training.

Day 8! It's all downhill from here. I could do two more days standing on my head!

So finish today, make it through Friday, do my last day on Saturday, then prepare an OMAD feast for Sunday afternoon. I can do that. But wait... doesn't that make 11 days? I'll have to look it up. edit: YES, that's really 11 days. I can do that.

I now have access to a small gym which has three recumbent arm and leg bikes, I started today, doing burst training to stimulate HGH release. What that is, for those who don't know, is when you go all out for as long as you can, and if you can go longer than about 60 seconds then you are not going hard enough. Then you recover for 10-20 seconds. Repeat a few times.

What this does, is deplete your intramuscular glycogen and force a flood of lactic acid into the blood stream. This triggers the release of Human Growth Hormone which will help restore structures and chemicals which may have atrophied. This is already mightily stimulated by fasting (up to 2000%), but every little bit helps, and it also is great for building muscle and endurance. That would cost you big money from a Doctor.

So, anyway, for me, all out is not very impressive. But I'm not shy to go and do my piddling little exercise because I know I will bounce back and develop very quickly. Not like when I was a kid, but not as slow as I might have two years ago.

Your determination knows no bounds.

Thanks, but it's not really as hard as it seems. After the first few days it just seems like normal.

@baerdric

Fasting going good here. Matter of fact, i just ended 2 day fast. I feel more amazing - less swelling, pain, more energy.

Reading your progress inspires me to seek understanding about this disease, but also quality of food(s) one eats.

Good for you! Glad I could help!
