Tips to fertilize soil naturally

I am a farmer, some of the types of plants that I have developed include: rice, corn, turmeric and chili. Besides that I also have several oil palm plantations, cocoa and betel nut and there are still many types of seasonal plants such as: mangosteen, langsat and durian in my garden. So, at least I know about agriculture, in cultivating plants the factor of soil fertility is very important.

So, it is not surprising if we see some plants can develop even though we do not provide intensive care, this is because of the land where he thrives.

There are various ways to fertilize the land:

1. Clay (loam)
   This type of soil contains many nutrients but unfortunately it cannot be eaten by plants because of lack of oxygen (O2). to reduce this, is to provide O2. the way is to provide: compost, manure, or other organic materials so that the soil becomes loose.

2. Sand land
   Land that contains a lot of sand, this type of soil is difficult to bind water, dry quickly and plants become languishing. As for how to deal with land like this is by adding organic materials such as compost, bokashi fertilizer, organic fertilizer from green leaves that are easily broken down plus animal waste.

3. Limestone land
   This type of limestone soil has high acidity, rapid landslides, micro-food is not available (eg iron, zinc, copper). To overcome this type of soil is to provide compost, and green leaves, especially from the types of flowering plants such as peanuts, and others. andto reduce it by providing sulfur-containing fertilizers. Acidic soil, can be marked: if the rice fields, yellow, if on land, overgrown with weeds (Impereta cylindrica). If corn is planted, it will be yellow, and if planted peanuts will not bear fruit. If you find soil like this acidity (pH) ranges from 3 to 5, so the pH must be adjusted to the desirability of the plant. To overcome land problems like this there are many ways to fertilize them:

• Soil is dried in the sun after being hijacked.
• Allow to dry by sunlight for 2 weeks.
• Given husk charcoal, by sprinkling husk charcoal.
• If necessary, provide agricultural lime.
