Rising Players in Fantasy Football
We now have 2 preseason games behind us. The 2018 Fantasy Football season is right around the corner. This post will be about 3 players whose stocks are rising. 1st up is Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers. McCaffrey has been getting tons of touches in the preseason and has been playing for the majority of snaps when the 1st team is on the field playing. Norv Turner is now running the offense and he has a history of giving his RBs plenty of touches and time on the field. This will be very beneficial for McCaffrey. There are some concerns about CJ Anderson being added to the roster, but if the regular season plays out like the preseason, CJ will be the backup running back behind McCaffrey rather than sharing the work load. McCaffrey had a great game against the Miami Dolphins by carrying five times for 92 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown in Friday’s preseason game. He added four catches for 28 yards. McCaffrey has higher value in PPR leagues due to his ability to catch the ball. Look for him in the mid to late second round.
Second up is a Wide Receiver from the San Fransisco 49ers. This player is Marquis Goodwin. Goodwin looks to be this year's number one receiver for the 49ers. He is building a great rapport with QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Goodwin had three catches for 61 yards in the San Francisco 49ers preseason game against the Houston Texans on Saturday. Last year Goodwin really started to shine late in the season. Look for him to be a breakout candidate this year. Look for him in the 5th to 6th round.
Finally we have Austin Hooper the Tight End from the Atlanta Falcons. Hooper has been working with QB Matt Ryan and caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday. He is flying under the radar at this point in time. Consider him with one of your last picks. If you miss out on one of the top TEs, consider stacking the rest of your positions and then take a flyer on Hooper.

I think Little can be a top 5 TE with Jimmy G. I picked him with my last pick in my league. Here's hoping for a breakout year.
I like Burton as my breakout TE candidate. Graham should do well in the end zone with Rogers throwing him the ball.
Idk about CMC yet, yeah he had a great 71 yard TD. Will he be able to sustain a lead back roll, its a hes a high risk high reward to me.
I think in a standard league he has more risk, but I like him in PPR. Plus Norv Turner likes to give his guys a workload. I'm willing to take a gamble mid to late 2nd round if I can get him that late in PPR.
yeah true, I play in alot of standard leagues which is why my opinion is different. He can def be a threat in ppr. With no true WR1 in Carolina they could look to dish alot to CMC.

Solid team. Some nice depth in the RB position. I like Stefon Diggs, I think he will have some explosive games that could win you some weeds. Lets just Josh Gordon can stay on the field and lets see how Jordy looks on his new team.
I've drafted Josh Gordon his rookie year, and since he has been suspended there has always been speculation that he could make a return, and I have always drafted him late in the rounds. This year he will finally get to play, and I'm more of a believer than ever. This kid is a physical speciman at age 26 hes in his prime age. He was the leagues leading rushiong with guys like Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden getting him the ball and him making the plays. I'm stoked.
Big on Goodwin this year too. I would be willing to reach for him in the 5th if it's PPR. I think he catches 80+ balls this year.
Yea, I like him too. I picked him up off the waiver wire in the second half of the season and he put up some nice numbers. He will be the number 1 WR on San Fran. 5th/6th round pick
