Sorry to say so but Eastern was celebrated (spring/new life) long before Christianity. Like most celebrations. The eggs stands for new life and fertility. So the bunny (very fertile and not giving up) fits in great. Also if it comes to familyprotection and fighting CPS. New life, new changes should (is) not only be "given" to christians.
