State Ownership Of Children: CPS And Me

in #familyprotection6 years ago

I've written over the past several days about CPS and figure that might share some of my own experience with them (which lasted 10 years). Most people that read my writing on Steemit know my story, but for those that don't, briefly... I was an orphan. My mother died when I was 5 and for the next 5 years I was passed around by a bunch of pedophiles until my uncle rescued me when I was 10. He died about 2-3 years later and I've been pretty much on the streets since... all I've ever really wanted was to be a part of a family. I got married at 42 to a woman who had two small boys- my battle with CPS began then.

I don't believe in step-parents or step-children... a family is a family and I wanted to adopt the boys. Of course CPS had to come out and "investigate." After the interrogation, my youngest son (that's how I've always seen the boys) came out of his bedroom in tears. The CPS workers made it very clear from the outset that those kids belonged to the state (Michigan) and not my wife and I. My son informed me after they left that they told him not to tell what had gone on in the interview or they would take him away. The adoption went through, but unbeknownst to me, I was "on the list."

While I was in college, the boys were in public school and they came home and said that a social worker had passed out questionnaires asking questions about families. So I went to investigate and was told again in no uncertain terms that those children were property of the state. For some reason I still cannot fathom a neighbor at married housing turned us in to CPS, stating that we kept the kids (we had 4 by then) locked in their rooms and fed them by slipping slices of bologna under the door. When CPS showed up to investigate, the boys were outside playing and the girls were watching TV. The bedroom doors have no locks and there was wall-to-wall carpeting so you couldn't slip a sheet of paper under the door. I guess we were lucky because they let us off with a "warning."

My next run in came when we decided to homeschool. My wife worked at a bank doing computer work and I taught part-time at a local community college and did guest lectures. I made enough to pay the land payment and we lived off my wife's salary. We would have done much better if I had worked full time, but we agreed to make the sacrifice so the kids would get a better education. Of course CPS showed up again and spent about 2 hours looking at papers and going over the curriculum. This went on every 2 or 3 months.

When my girls were 7 and 9 they both developed labial adhesion. I won't go into detail, I'm sure women understand- suffice to say it was extremely painful to urinate. We took them to a gynecologist who put them on hormone therapy. When we went, I didn't feel comfortable going in when they were examined... it wasn't necessary, my wife was there. The doctor encouraged me to come in but I didn't feel right about it. It took several months for the hormones to work and one weekend they were having a particularly hard time going to the bathroom and we couldn't get ahold of the doctor so my wife took them to the emergency room. The doctor said that it was next to impossible for them to both have the same condition so he called CPS saying it was sexual abuse. They took the girls. They next morning we called their doctor who had us meet her at the hospital. She reamed that doctor 4 new assholes. She told him is they were sexually abused their vaginas would be opened, not grown shut. Then we went to CPS and she let them have it as well. She told them if we didn't get those girls back immediately she would call the governor and start writing editorials. If I ever have to go back into combat- I want her with me! We had the girls back within hours.

After all of the stories I've heard, I suppose I was very lucky... there were so many times I could have lost my kids. Many people weren't so fortunate. If you have children, you need to watch this video by a former CPS investigator. If you love children, you need to watch it... he is very forthcoming about how CPS operates and gives very good advice to parents or parents to be.

Governments around the world,
are using "Child Protection Agencies"
to take children away from loving families
and place them in foster care or group homes.
THESE FAMILIES NEED PROTECTING.

Funds are being raised so that in the future we can help families fight the system and stay together. Your UPVOTE of this comment will support this cause.

Thank you @richq11 for supporting @familyprotection

After all of the stories I've heard, I suppose I was very lucky... there were so many times I could have lost my kids. Many people weren't so fortunate.

Has it got to the stage where we have to count our selves lucky on numerous occasions that we haven't had our children taken for no reason.

I suppose after reading your story I should count myself lucky that I've only had to count myself lucky once.

When will the world stand up against this? (as I was writing that, I realize that's what we are doing, and when the rest of the world goes decentralized, the CPS gang will be replaced with support networks and community building.

Thank you for joining the struggle

your story is now going to help people get a true account of the capabilities of CPS.

Bless.

I looked on Y-Tube for similar stories and there was some really horrifying stuff. One where a lawyer's kids were taken in retaliation for appealing a woman's case.

Thank you for sharing this story. I'm happy to hear that the doctor was fighting for them, I wouldn't want to mess with her! I'm sorry that the State is harrasing you and your family at every opportunity. I'm glad you're homeschooling. Keep them out of the system. @ironshield

She was wonderful... A real advocate. All my kids are grown now and have kids of their own. (and all successful). My oldest son has a consulting firm, my younger son has a construction company that specializes in country clubs. My oldest daughter is a pharmacist and my youngest a stay at home mom.

Wow, good for you! Bless the Most High!

This is why we are on a search for a good pediatrician, so if we ever find ourselves in the ER and they start asking questions, we'll have a relationship with a doctor in hand. Name and phone ready. How much trouble would we find ourselves in, just by not having a family doctor. @ironshield

It's bad enough now that you need a team of specialists and a family practice lawyer on retainer!

Thank you for sharing that @richq11.

What a sad and tragic story. Something has to be done about the "power of the state". These political entities are out of control. The blockchain is going to take over many areas of government....we need to disassemble them as quickly as possible.

Nobody condones child abuse and it should be stopped at all costs. However, to prey upon the innocent and weak is just horrific. These people should be shot for what they do.

I've been looking around youtube for other people's stories and I was one lucky MF!!!

That was an excellent video and an enlightening read. Thanks for sharing your story and for posting this.

Thank you... I've been checking some other videos and it's scary. One lawyer in Kentucky lost his kids for appealing a woman's case!

I never knew there was such a thing as a Hero account!

I never knew there was such a thing as a Hero account!

I appreciate you sharing your personal experience. I have a friend who has also battled CPS and I learned about how the state believes that it owns children from the moment they are birthed into this world. I think this is the saddest form of slavery imaginable and it is one of the reasons why I find the theory and philosophy of self ownership valuable. After learning about how abusive many of these foster homes are, I decided to reach out to others who have experienced the same, how they improved their lives afterwards and their willingness to share their stories with the world. I want to make an even greater effort to expose this agency and help parents who are facing struggles with CPS. If there is anything at all I can do, please let me know.

I'm happy you mentioned slavery, because today's post is about that... on an international level and CPS involvement. If you can please consider sending a few SBD to @familyprotection to help with the fight. You can also write about it- your friend's experience to help raise awareness.

I will definitely send a few SBD to support @familyprotection as soon as I generate some, currently I am without and hoping to generate an audience that will help me to become more lucrative. I am fairly new to the site, honestly. I love what @familyprotection is doing by raising awareness to this serious issue. You have my support always even if I am not able to provide it monetarily at the moment. Also, I have seriously considered writing about this topic and most recently mentioned it to my friend before logging in last night.

The more people that write about it, the more support it generates.

I'm really sorry you had to go through this @richq11, I have alot of admiration for you, as it must have brought up alot of emotions sharing this with us all. But in doing this you are helping to bring awareness to many people. Thank you.

That's why I fight- because I never want to see other children go through what I did and If there's a corrupt system behind it, I'll expose them too.

you are a good man, child rights should be taken care of, very lucky there are people like you, your contribution will be very influential on the world

if youhave many times, you can visit my blog, i need yuor support and upvote from you
