The British Stolen Generation.
Back in England, before we came out to Australia in 2008, there had been various documentaries on what was being called the stolen generation. It was a generation of children who, after the second world war, were taken and shipped off as orphans, by the government, to Australia.
Australia wanted to expand its population, preferably with Brits as they were English speaking and of the same ancestry as most current Australians. Having children they could exclusively raise to their form of the ideal Australian citizen was also more desirable than bringing in adults.
The children were shipped over in their 1000s. They were children who had been sent away from the cities to the country to keep them safe from the war. Some were orphaned when their families died in the cities, but many were not. Those children were told that their parents had died and their parents believed them to be in care, but when they went to claim them, they were told they'd been adopted. Many of those children didn't discover the lie until they were much older and by the time they located their family back in England some truly were orphans.
When these children arrived in Australia many were pretty much raised in work houses for places like Barnardos, the Salvation Army and churches. This article back in 1993 was one of the first publications about it and gives an idea of how well it was kept under wraps. Some children were physically, verbally and sexually abused in the care system.
Shortly after we arrived in Australia someone was telling us about the apologies being made to the stolen generation. Some confusion ensued because I thought she was talking about the British children, but it turned out she was talking about aboriginal children. I'm still not sure if she actually believed me at the time when I told her the same had happened in Britain, but some months later that too came out and the Prime Minister was offering more apologies.
For many years both countries managed to keep this quiet and even keep it from their people. In fact it was over 60 years before it was publicly apologised for in Australia. Do we believe that this sort of thing wouldn't happen any more? That our governments wouldn't hide these sorts of things any more? These stories only come out into the open when we are committed to making sure that they are heard. @familyprotection is committed to making sure that these and current stories are being heard and in time hope to be able to step in and offer help to stop families today being torn apart.

The more we hear about this hidden events, the more I wonder how safe are my grandkids. If it could happen then it can happen again. But God forbid!
Rather than learning not to do this sort of thing I think they learn how better to cover their tracks so that they don't get caught doing it.

Great write up. In fact, the British children were also sent to Canada. This atrocious activity was known about for many years and actively denied, fudged and manipulated by many institutions and the Government. Look also at the Marist missions and the Christian missions who took these and Koori kids as unpaid labour in return for housing. Absolutely brutal treatment.
Great to see you bringing it to light. And yes, the Government does many things in secrecy, covers it up and then tries to make the questioners appear stupid, paranoid and crazy.

Often these things seem to only 'conveniently' come to more public light after the perpetrators are long gone. A public apology wasn't made in the UK until 1996/7 and it was ten years later in Australia.
If they can take control a generation or two they can take over the world. This is crime on a global basis being supported and encouraged by the shadow government Illuminati Bilderberg folks. They wish to divide and conquer. It all ties in with Agenda 21 and agenda 2030. Most folks are not awake and are sheeple. They do not know what the hell is going on. You might say they are drugged by Facebook work bad food and everything else. We all need to come together to fight this. We all need to rise up as one and say enough is enough. We all need to protect our future our children and our freedoms in the society we live. We all need to say we will not take this crap. Together we can.
And what do you suggest as a weapon of this rebellion?
Information, bricks and stones, guns, molotov cocktails?..
It's easier to pretend it doesn't happen and keep hoping that the government's will take care of us. It's hard to stand up, say no and risk the consequences.

Wow - this is a new one that I wasn't aware of. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. it is so important to be aware of what is going on and shine a light on this darkness, so that it can be transformed, rather than brushing it under the carpet, like has been done before.
You're welcome. I'm actually rather surprised how many still don't know anything about it. I guess it's not a piece of history that would be taught in schools.
Much of what happens is never exposed and if it is, the people exposing are made to look and feel like crazy, paranoid loonies. Much of the time, I think people deliberately keep themselves ignorant because they do not want to believe their government could be involved.
Look at the concentration camp on Rottnest Island which is now a luxury hotel.

That's pretty sickening. I'm not sure I need more than a primer! Wherever you go in Australia the history of what was done to the indigenous people is distressing. It's hard to imagine what would make anyone think that this was an acceptable thing to do.
It is even harder to accept that no-one really knows it happened, and was happening well into the last century. The history of the aboriginals is pretty bleak, and their future is not better.
It is inspiring to see people rally together on these issues.
It is very frustrating to see an investigation into more modern crimes get stifled by higher ups. Particularly, when it pertains to politicians, richer classes and royal family members.
