In humbleness I offer a song parody. 'Horror' is a song parody of the Billy Joel song 'Laura' recorded on the Nylon Curtain album (1982). A common thread that Horror and Laura share is in addressing psychological issues in an honestly blunt and direct way. The parody speaks of the mental baggage and damage the CPS brings through the foster home, while Laura deals with codependency and narcissistic behavior.

The psychological horror

The CPS foster care experience is traumatic and horrifying for a child. Terror and fright set it as children are subjected to the pushed poison of the system. Social workers are only interested in quotas and are often cold with anger. It is a spiritual war where cash is made and evil is paid. Children become cash cows for the system. Sessions with the CPS become hopeless chances as the result bring blankless stares and apathetic trances. The foster care system is slavery and brings an evil-ution rather than progression. Government care is a money grab and can lead to the marble slab of death.

The solution

The last verse speak that there is solution. Eliminating the selling of children to human traffickers and unqualified foster parent would be so much better for both the child d family. Children should not be kidnapped. They belong with mom and dad, Sadly there is both a spiritual war as well as a war on families. We need to stand together and defend freedom, truth and all families. A bit more about the Horror parodied lyrics

The lyrics address the CPS horror the child faces in a fragmented blunt adult manner rather than the verbage of a child. In the storied lyrics during the bridge, the child wants to escape and run away from the horror of the CPS. Being a cash cow or machine gets old. In the last bridge the child cannot take anymore and fears breaking in two. Left unattended horror can turn into a monster and lead to death...as does the progression of the song lyrics in the last verse . The voice in the Horror parody asks three questions.

Why does it push its poison on me?
Why do they feel a desire to steal?
How can you live when your buried in marble and slab?

About the music Beatles influence

The Song Laura was a ballad on the Billy Joel Nylon Curtain album. Although the song addressed the psychological issue of codependency and narcissistic behavior , in researching, I learned this song unofficially was about his relationship with his mother. Laura sounds hauntingly like the Beetles era 1967 - 1970. Listen to the background vocals. There is a guitar solo during the second bridge that sounds like George Harrison is playing. The last two lines of each verse incorporates a drum cadence much like what Ringo used. Finally certain melodic lines in the song hint back to the fab four. Many other Billy Joel 's shows Beatles influence if you listen closely to many of his songs.

I offer one audio and a treat for the die hard Billy Joel lover. The first is the original audio recording from the Nylon Curtain album. As It i crisp and clean and honestly direct , this should accompany the song parody. Please know the F word is used once in his lyrics.
