In humbleness I bring a holiday song parody. 'For Children and For Family' is a New Year's song parody of the classic, 'Auld Lang Syne.' The lyrics are written in the style and sentiment of the old Scottish song. It's original poem was penned by Robert Burns in 1788. In likeness I lift up the cup of kindness and hope in the lyrics for the freedom of children and families.

The CPS bondage of the family.

Children and families live in the bondage of the CPS foster care system. Enslaved they yearn to hear the 'bells of justice ring.' From the 'grave of their distress' they wait to rise with the 'winds of freedom.' 'Stolen dreams and crippled hearts' only ask for a 'cup of kindness pour.' This song addresses the 'hurting, voiceless, weak and mild.' As the chorus states we all must take the promise to defend and protect those children and families.

Will you take the pledge to promise?

For children and for family, let freedom ever shine
We promise to defend protect, until the end of time.

May you sing this at your New Year's eve Party.

It would be a great way to educate the apathetic sheeple of the trauma that the CPS foster care system places on families. In fact you could also sing any of the other song parodies too. Turn the evening into an @familyprotection new year's party. Have fun with the sing a long, educate and recruit. If nothing else it opened the door to talk about the plight of children and @familyprotection.

The videos

I offer three videos to accompany the parodied lyrics. The fist is by the vocal group 'Home Free.' It is a nicely done a capella arrangement with a hint of country in style. Nice to listen to. The second is by 'Face Vocal Band,' It too is a capella but more modern and refreshing interpretation of the song. The visual is nice with unique harmonies and it is upbeat. The final is by 'Scottish dialect by Robert Burns Csonga fiddle ,Nick guitar vocals.' It is more traditional to its Scottish origins. It incorporates more verses and helps to reflect the imagery of Scotland. Whatever video you choose, remember it is the lyrics that stand for family and freedom.
