This is a really cool initiative. I am pretty new here (joined in late June), and I have just been getting the hang out how it works. I read plenty of posts that don't have many upvotes even though their writing is a lot better than posts with hundreds of SBD on them. I get it that people have different tastes, but there is also an issue of rote quality, so I wonder how someone with so little writing talent (which is ok, I have little talent in a lot of areas), can be making money off it their posts. It has to do with perhaps them buying STEEM having a large weight of the vote themselves on their own post? Or what do you think?
Anyway, I am going to check out your recommendations here! :)
HI @jessandthesea, thanks for your comment. Yes its about large voting power and the buddies voting for their buddies. I hope we can help to make steemit more focussing on quality content than on buddies, or at least equal :). I had the same experience like you when I came her and wondered why a preview of a football game AFTER the game was played already made 200 times more money than a repap posted a couple minutes later..
I think we have to decide what we want here: A money exchange portal or a content social media portal. I will work for the second !

Looks like fairvote is becoming fairfood. Most of the finds and resteems seem to be about food. Any particular reason for this or is it just a coincidence.
is it ? We thought we had today first time about food ? And as we found 2 good comparison while searching we did both...Other topics to come :)
I started following you yesterday and today saw around three posts from you all in food section. It was just a light hearted comment thought ;)
actually it may looks a bit to much, cause we do resteem both articles of the comparison. We just count our posts, so 2 about food. But you are right, when we do 2 in a row, that means 6 food articles in a row..I guess we will not do again :) Thansks
