USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Poloniex (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I take the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily average which came out to:

  • STEEM: $1.78770
  • SBD: $5.94550

Previous Report:

  • STEEM: $1.54107
  • SBD: $4.31140

Assumptions

Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

Linked Accounts

hitbtc includes hitbtc-exchange and hitbtc-payout, freewallet.org includes freewallet, and openledger includes openledger-dex.

Commentary

  • Very Interesting: For maybe the first time since I've done this report, we see more Steem coming into Steemit that leaving it! That's a really exciting thing. Does that mean people are taking the high price of SBD and selling them for STEEM to send back to the system? Maybe some arbitrage is in play?

  • Ah yes, that's confirmed by the top of the list @happychau123. Check out their transfers. Buying SBD like crazy on the internal market, sending to bittrex, presumedly selling to buy STEEM and then repeating the process again. Very interesting.

  • With the price of STEEM and SBD going up, I thought we'd see more people heading for the exits. Are they starting to believe...?

  • I noticed @rudex which is another exchange. I'll add them to next week's report.

  • Power down report is missing this week as steemdb seems to be down at the moment. I've let @jesta know.

Is it very woman related not to understand the balls of that ? :-) (flemish expression) I read over your balances and graphics, like i should understand, but i do not :-) lol
i do understand the last bit the commentary! i just see it is going well i read it in your text and see it in my wallet.

Haha... I have never heard of that expression. :)

It's a bit confusing, but the first report I did hopefully explains it a bit.

it is clear do not take me wrong! it´s my brain that does not want to go around it. :-)

Beautiful demography ! Thanks for sharing my friend !!

I didn't know that word prior to your comment. :)

Just trying to say about your beautiful statistical data presentation ! Thanks for you !

Steem is up to 2.45 on coin market cap! Sbd was over 15usd on bittrex today too. Steemits really growing fast now!

It's an exciting time, for sure. What I'm hoping for most is gains against BTC (without it crashing).

I'm also hoping this happens for steem. Would be delighted to see the first blogging platform turn into something sustainable with its own thriving economy.

I believe the Steem / SBD ratio is great! This enables actual users of Steem to get some at a great prices from our Fruit of Work!

Steem and SBD is growing more stronger

Great blog.... It helps the begainers to understand exactly what they supposed to do.... Thanks for sharing
