22 European Nations Come Together with Blockchain Partnership

On April 10, 2018, 22 countries in Europe joined forces to work on blockchain regulation and education.

The European Blockchain Partnership will be a tool for cooperation amongst the Member States to exercise expertise and experience in regulatory and technical fields and prepare for the launch of EU-broad blockchain applications across the Digital Single Market for the gain of the public and private sectors," states the European Commission press release.

A complete catalog of the participating countries includes the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden and the U.K. An invite to join the joint venture has been extended to Members of the EU, other countries, and European Economic Area.
