The price of Etherium was all time high Monday setting a new record. Etherium is up to 5000% since the start of this year. This is a record rise since the price was around 7$ to 8$ on Jan 1.
What is Etherium?
Ether is the name of cryptocurrency which runs on Etherium blockchain. Etherium is often used as shorthand for digital currency. It is a decentralized platform.
Is Etherium similar to Bitcoin?
Well it is some sort of similar but not same. Like Bitcoin, Etherium is distributed public blockchain network. Although there are technical differences between them. Ether is also used by application developers to pay for transaction fees and services on Etherium network.
Etherium is completely destroying the market cap, closing in on BTC now just a 6.5B difference. that only accounts for about 8% of BTC's market cap, we saw a switch of almost 20% today. What I'm saying is this could happen by tomorrow...
