ETH Constantinopole HardFork Postponed Due To Reentrancy Bug
As you probably know, today ETH should have been implemented a new hardfork, aimed at decreasing transaction costs and increasing transaction throughput. Due to a bug discovered and disclosed a few hours before the event, the hardfork, dubbed "Constantinopole" has been postponed.
The vulnerability, a design hole called "reentrancy attack", may allow an attacker, under certain circumstances, to interact with smart contracts designed in a specific way. According to the blog post describing it, exchanges may be vulnerable to this.
ETH core developers confirmed the vulnerability and started to work on a fix, which may be announced this Friday. Until then, Constantinopole will not be rolled out.

i was anticipating for the release of the hardfork today though, it is a good idea that they find out on time. thanks for the updates @dragosroua
Appreciate you spreading the news , I'm happy they chose to postpone it and not be too fast with it then I might fear it becomes full of errors.
Thanks for the update.
