How to mine Zcash (ZEC) on any pool

Hello.

In this video I will show you how to mine Zcash od any Equihash based coin on pool.

First you need to find pool where to mine

In description of the video I will point some pools.
Some are good, some are not too good
but you will need to test them and choose what pool is best for you.

I will show where I am mining. (Not 100% best pool, just my personal choice)

Lets start!!!

If you want to mine Zcash (ZEC) one of the largest pools is

Mining software for your rigs

In the moment we have a couple of miners out there
you can always search what miner is best for your rigs and your hardware.

For this video I will use mining rig with 3xASUS RX 480 4GB and

Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0

And MSI Afterburner to setup my GPU’s

Settings for my card’s are:

GPU Clock (MHz) 1175

Memory Clock (MHz) 1850

Power Limit (%) +25

Core Voltage (mV) -42

(OVERCLOCKING YOUR CARD TO THE MAXXXXX will not get you best results,
and beter hashrate)

For your hardware you will need to find witch setup is best for you

After you download Claymore’s Miner extract and setup a new batch file or just edit existing start.bat file

You will need to point in section

–zpool youpool

and in section

–zwal yourzcashaddress
(you can make address on any exchange or trading site like
poloniex.com or kraken.com or bittrex.com)

and in section

–zpsw you can put anything, it is not affecting on the mining process.

My batch file is like this:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3443 -zpool ssl://us1-zcash.flypool.org:3443 -zwal myzcashaddress.cryptomkd1 -zpsw x -allpools 1

At the end of the address you can add your worker with format

zcashaddress.yourworker

just to be able to monitor all you workers.

And here it is

we are mining Zcash on flypool!!!!

Wait couple of minutes to see your speed and progress on the pool!!!

Copy address and paste here to see your workers and results!!!

That is it!!!!!

But for different pools like

you will need a little bit different settings.

Here on this pools you need first to make account and then create your workers and the to start mining.

For some people this is a little bit confusing so I will show you how to do this:

First register account

Then on the left side on your screen go to

My account/Edit Account

Enter here all your details

Then go to

My Workers

And make some workers, choose a simple name (it is faster this way)

And then go to section HELP
