Dating says scout around, get involved with a guy/lady you have affection for, experiment with each other and begin to evaluate them on your self designed scale. Assess the person financially, emotionally, academically, spiritually, sexually, background, their look, voice, height, body shape, steps, composure, social life, etcetera. When you score them high based on the imagination you have in your mind, you can decide to proceed to marriage by mutual consent ± GOD.
If you get involve with a good pretender or satanically sent partner your marriage won't take long to be a done deal.

Courting says GOD created marriage, made Eve for Adam. So, He's the omniscient i.e even about marriage, he knows who is best for each individual.
Courting say trust GOD about who to marry, open a communication line through prayer ± fasting, consecration as necessary to know which lady/guy to talk to/ say yes to on the issue of marriage.
If you agree that GOD is not a gambler, He's the Alpha et Omega and won't mislead you, whatever he says; you, as a matter of OBEDIENCE must accept it hook and sinker. Usually, the choice will not please you ( as We've been told by several people who went through the process) but know by FAITH that it will work out well.

The next step is to follow the laid down guidelines of your church on proposing to the person after which you begin to build a personal relationship with that person which is expected to end in marriage.
