A world beyond our differences.

in #esteem6 years ago

Sometimes, I often wonder why we humans are different from each other and when I say different, i mean different in every perspective you can think of.

I have watched and observed for as long as i could and i have come to understand and conclude that these differences have been put in place to make us a unified whole.

People of great differences coming together to achieve a single goal.

I think if we all were to be equals with no differences whatsoever, this would in the very least bring about competition, hatred and unnecessary violence.

I think the strong ones were created to save the weak ones.
I think the intelligent ones were created educate the dull ones.
I think the old ones were created to nurture the young ones.
I think the male ones was created to complement the females ones.
I think the wise ones were created to teach the stupid ones.
I think the rich ones were created to feed the poor ones.
I think the happy ones were created to cheer the sad ones.
I think we all have been created to help each other.
I know we have been created to help each other.

The recent event about twelve members of a boy’s football team and their coach who were rescued, after being trapped in a cave in Thailand for 18 days has shown that our strength lies in our diversity.

The thailand navy Seals, who have been running the operation at the cave, confirmed that all 13 were out. “We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science or what”, the Seals said on their Facebook page.

I think it was neither a miracle nor science, it was simply a global effort.

Theresa May also said “The world was watching and will be saluting the bravery of all those involved".

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk also offered to help with his mini-submarine.

Thailand Prime Minister said "he would host a celebration for all of those involved in the multinational rescue effort".

"The incredible scenes we have witnessed are a model of international cooperation and coordinated selflessness,” Guardian columnist Suzanne Moore.

The whole world came to the rescue of this children with only purpose which is to save their lives irrespective of who they are, what they are or where they are from.

This story has touched us all as one nation and one people and showcase a sign that humanity is not dead and that we all can collectively work together to achieve success.

Finally, I would say the strength that lies in our diversity is a light in which no power can extinguish.
