Facebook Data Leaks So Momentum For Understanding Privacy
Since Facebook data leakage scandal because of rampant Cambridge Analytica, Indonesia Internet service provider Association (JIHAD) said the case should be used as a momentum to do the evaluation of Facebook and privacy protection as well.
"That data Leakage is the momentum to evaluate Facebook. Moreover, Facebook is also recorded as the owner of WhatsApp and Instagram
The scandal became a major case of Analytica Cambridge for allegedly taking a Facebook user data for political purposes, they allegedly helped Donald Trump campaign.
The problem of user data on Facebook was vulnerable to abuse, because it turns out Obama's campaign team had previously never wears the same way, i.e., wearing its supporting data on Facebook for political purposes.
Case on Facebook also should be used to increase public awareness related the importance of protecting the personal data of those on the internet.
"This Social Media we use for free, many of the benefits that we can. But since the register and install, it's often the people who forgot about prudence share data that is personal.
In developed countries the awareness about privacy is already high.
