I tell people
I am not less the child I was
Whose first cry brought smiles
Joyful tears too, to the people who first heard

I am no different from the hopeful romantic
Whose heart bled tears
Whose eyes shed blood
When heartbreak paid him a visit

I am no different from the person pained in love
Shedding tears
Every night
In the corner of his bed

Because I wear the everyday confidence
Forced on me by my society
Does not make me a different human breed

Because I belong to the "muscled" gender
The gender tagged "men"
Does not mean I am less emotional than you are

Because I have a manhood
Does not mean I have superhuman traits

Emotions come not by gender
Neither do feelings exist by machismo

I swear, I'm not a hard guy
I feel some type of way too.
