Silent Valley - Poem
Rustling the leaves,
Striking fear,
Calming the mind,
They stood in terror.
A hundred lives couldn't prevent it,
A hundred more couldn't save it.
The mountain slope screamed,
To the valley of sorrow.
Carrying the burden of evil,
Fielding angels all around,
The vision brought the wise men together.
Time stood in mock understanding,
Of events that survived the calm.
The cult of harmony,
was formidable in all ways but action.
Rage of the innocents,
Built on the spilled blood.
Impending doom the valley shrunk,
In a blaze of action,
It razed all to the ground.
