Dear brothers and sisters of my beautiful @esteem community this is Julia and it's my eighth day of worship and fasting for Goddess Mother Durga and today we the Hindus will worship the eighth incarnation of Goddess Durga, the Goddess Mahagauri who is known as the Goddess of wisdom.

She is among the kindest Goddess of Hindu methodology who forgives the sins and fulfills all the desires of her devotees. Friends I am sharing with you an ancient and a mysterious story about her, during her hard penance for thousands years she performed a very tough form of penance in which she performed rigid Tapas without moving her body, this tapas lasts for centuries and due to this heavy amount of soil and dust accumulated on her and when Lord Shiva heard her hard tapas cane there and cleaned her with pure water and from that day purity is associated with her name so you can say she is among the purest form of Goddess Durga who loves purity of mind and soul.

Friends this day is known and worshipped as Durga Ashtami. On this day, this day mainly the worship of Goddess Minerva conducted as she is the Goddess of wisdom. Mother Mahagauri blessed her devotees and children by purifying our thoughts, minds and soul so we can get salvation in our life. It is advisable to get wisdom and virtue worship Goddess Mahagauri as she will remove sorrow from our life and fill it with love and wisdom.

Chanting of this mantra during worship of Goddess Mahagauri will give you extra blessings.

# श्वेते वृषे समारूढा श्वेताम्बरधरा शुचिः |

महागौरी शुभं दद्यान्त्र महादेव प्रमोददा ||
