RE: MINI KEBABS 🍅🌿🍅

Howdy Miss Lena! these look super tasty indeed! What is Tempeh again? lol. Is that some kind of soy protein? I've never seen kabobs look anything like these but I would love to try them!

Howdy Janton! Yes tempeh is product made by fermenting soy beans, which is very healthy and high in protein. You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempeh And if you like to try these kebabs you can make them; it's very easy. Altough, many people who try tempeh first time do not like it. If I didn't, because of the way it was prepared. However, this recipe should do the trick and even of you do not make the BBQ sauce from scratch. Just use the one you like.

Anyway, thank you for stopping by, it means a lot 😊

Tempeh
Tempeh or tempe (; Javanese: témpé, Javanese pronunciation: [tempe]) is a traditional Indonesian soy product, that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form. Here a special fungus is used, which has the Latin name Rhizopus oligosporus, usually marketed under the name Tempeh starter.

It is especially popular on the island of Java, where it is a staple source of protein.

Yes, that's what the Wikipedia says!

Yay I was right! About something..for a change. lol. That tempeh is fermented soybeans, that was a lucky guess. Commercial BBQ sauce is so full of sugar and high fructose corn syrup! It took us forever to find one without those in them.

I can try to make those but the things I make never look like the ones on the recipe, mine always look like trash! lol.
