MUSIM PANEN HAMPIR TIBA

Ketika aku memandangi hamparan persawahan yang sudah mulai menguning, terlintas di pikiranku bahwa panen raya akan segera tiba. Tanaman padi sudah agak menunduk pertanda butir padi kian terisi.

When I looked at the expanse of rice fields that had begun to turn yellow, it occurred to me that the harvest would arrive soon. The rice plants have looked rather down , a sign that the grain is getting filled.

Desaku mempunyai tanah yang subur untuk ditanami dengan berbagai macam tumbuhan. Hamparan sawah sejauh mata memandang membuktikan bahwa kami seharusnya kaya raya dan takkan hidup serba kekurangan. Namun yang terjadi adalah penduduk desa kami tetap hidup dalam kesulitan ekonomi.

The extensive rice fields as far as the eye can see proves that we should be rich and will not live in poorness But in reality that our villagers were living in economic crisis.

Saya berharap semoga ada perhatian yang serius dari pemerintah kepada para petani demi meningkatkan kesejahteraannya. Misalnya dengan menjaga harga pupuk dan harga gabah tetap stabil.

I hope that there will be serious attention from the government to the farmers to improve their welfare. For example, by keeping fertilizer prices and rice prices stable.
