This is one of the biggest week for Liverpool and its fans. Firstly, the 1st leg of Champions League Football against the German Champion Bayern Munich, and next against their old nemesis Manchester United in the English Premier League.
These two matches will truly test Liverpool's pedigree if they are good enough to win any thropies this season.
Both Bayern and Man Utd has seen a resurgence in forms since the turn of the new year, and they are going to give Liverpool a really good fight. Liverpool instead, has seen a bit of a slump in their form, and would has to be on the tip of their toes in all of their remaining matches this season if they want to win any silverware.
During the match against Bayern, Liverpool will be playing without Virgil Van Dijk in defence, and even worse when they only have Joel Matip the only current fit Centerback. It'll be interesting to see who will Jurgen Klopp will assign to partner Matip in the center of the defence.
Van Dijk will return to action against Man Utd though, and he will surely make the defence stronger with his presence. But they will surely have a torrid time against a Man Utd side who would be eager to make amend of their poor performance when they last met.
It's going to be a spectacular show of football this week, and I hope Liverpool will get a favourable results against these formidable sides.
