Battle of the REDS, Anfield, EPL Season 2018-2019

Every season, for Liverpool FC and Manchester United fans alike, this is the most anticipated rivalry match that they have been waiting for. This is the mother of the most epic battle between two sides that has huge followers around the world, besides the El Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The two most successful clubs in England will be locking-horns in Anfield on Sunday. Since Jurgen Klopp became the Manager of Liverpool, he has never won against Manchester United in the EPL. Last season, the score was nil - nil at Anfield, but United prevailed in beating Liverpool 2 - 0 at Old Trafford.

Eventhough United is not performing well at the moment, but I, as a Liverpool fan as always, are really wary of their threats. Manchester United (Liverpool's bogey team) can always step to the mark, and played their hearts out whenever they played against Liverpool. Liverpool will surely have a torrid time against United, and maybe, United might nick a goal and break Liverpool's record 16 games unbeaten streak in the league.

Jose Mourinho would love to have a go against Liverpool, as Anfield is a happy hunting ground for him since his Chelsea days as a manager. I am really sure that Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini will be playing, if they are fully fit. These tall and robust guys will surely give the Liverpool defenders and midfielders a hard time. The only way for Liverpool to win the game is to strike a goal whenever they got the chance, which will be few I think. United's defence is quite leaky, but I guess Mourinho will shore it up to frustrates Liverpool's attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

I anticipate a hard fought battle between these two teams, as always, and there will be many yellow cards being flashed around by the referee. I won't be surprised if there is a RED Card for a few players too.
