EOS: How to claim your Exodus EOS with simplEOS wallet

This was an email I got from Exodus and wanted to share for educational use only.

At the moment, Exodus does not plan to add support for the EOS Mainnet coins within the wallet. We would like to wait and see how things pan out, how the community feels about EOS, market cap etc. before deciding to add EOS Mainnet.

However, this does not mean that your EOS Mainnet coins are stuck due to this decision. With Exodus, you have full control of your private keys and hence, if you do not want to wait for us to add support for EOS Mainnet, there is a solution for you.
