An Update on Enumivo
While some of our longer-standing regulars at Something Decent will already be aware of the growing cryptocurrency, Enumivo, those of you who haven't been around as long may be a bit unaware as to what it is or why I am giving you an update on the progress of the project. So let me explain.
Enumivo is a clone of the popular EOS platform which was made as a means of providing prospective developers with a blockchain that provides all the same functionality of the EOS chain, by Block.One, but at a lower cost. It is also being developed with the plan of releasing a unique UBI dApp which utilises a custom tailored identification oracle.
The ENU token was distributed freely via a custom coded, Ethereum based, airdrop smart contract and quickly gained the trust of crypto enthusiasts when its lead developer returned 9 Eth tokens to someone who accidentally sent it to the ENU contract. The Enumivo ERC20 token is set to be swapped for the official ENU coin when the Enumivo blockchain is released in August 2018.
Where are they now?
Since their inception back in February 2018 the Enumivo core development team have been seemingly working hard behind the scenes to provide their community with a project which can organically grow in value. As someone with a great interest in this project I have been following it extremely closely and can honestly say it is one which gives me great hope for the future. Their recent release of their official whitepaper has been met with a great response and it give's us all a great idea of where the project is heading.
Over the previous couple of months the ENU token has gone from having little to no volume on the leading decentralised Ethereum exchange, Fork Delta, to witnessing a daily trading volume of over 6 million tokens on growing Chinese exchange, Kkex, at its peak.
Trading volume is one thing, but what about value? Well, those who entered the airdrop, and those who bought tokens from Fork Delta, during the project's teething period, will no doubt be ecstatic when they look the current value of the token as it sits between $0.03 and $0.05 USD, consistently. When you consider that this is a token which was announced with little to no marketing only a couple months ago you can see just how much of an achievement this actually is.
The mentioned increase in the token value is great for traders but what about developers? Again, this is another section of the community which I believe can be confident about Enumivo's future progress. Since the token's inception the lead developer of the project has been one busy bee and has managed to keep the ENU Git repository pretty much zero commits behind the EOS Git repository while also developing and implementing his own improvements to the code.
Technical improvements and trading talk aside, another development of the ENU project is the release of their very own forum which is currently being finalised. The hope with the forum is to attempt to provide the Enumivo community with a place to communicate with each other and reach out to the development team.
As it stands the project is bang on track to materialise their vision of releasing a main net in August 2018, and as a means of improving the token's usability the project's development team have been making links with the likes of Coinlib, Bitgur, Bixin and Delta, as well as the mentioned link with the popular Kkex exchange.
As this project develops I will continue to keep you all updated as, as mentioned, this is one I am pretty excited about having missed the opportunity to acquire substantial EOS tokens. Watch this space.
